Phillips 66 is constantly searching for new FBOs that are interested in starting their own tradition of excellence. Together we can provide pilots with high quality fuel and innovative aviation services to fly into the future.

Company History

In 2002, Conoco and Phillips Petroleum merged to form ConocoPhillips, bringing two companies with a rich history in Aviation into a single entity. Conoco and Phillips Petroleum’s aviation roots date by to the 1920’s, when aviation was in its infancy.

Their involvement centered around the development of aviation fuels and oils as well as an increasing excitement over the use of aircraft for transportation. Both companies made significant contributions, including the development of 100-octane fuel during WWII providing needed power increases and higher efficiency for longer range. Continued developmental work resulted in technology improvements, including the controllable pitch propeller, the first refueling truck, and the drag chute.

This constant desire to inspire innovation continues today. Phillips 66® Aviation continues as a leader in the industry providing innovative programs and quality fuel supporting the flying community and our network of FBOs.
