Featured FBO - Cutter Aviation, Inc.
From its modest beginnings in 1928, Cutter Flying Service, Inc. grew to become both a major United States Military pilot training facility, and a Naval Combat School.
Although its early years coincided with the Great Depression and the onset of World War II, founder William P. Cutter was able to grow the company with great success, eventually entering into a partnership with the Beech Aircraft Corporation (a Raytheon Company) in 1947. The Beech Aircraft Corporation provided a quality product to which Cutter was able to provide quality service.
In 1959, Cutter Aviation, Inc. broke ground in Phoenix, Arizona, followed by facilities in El Paso in 1982, Deer Valley in 1997, San Antonio in 1998, and Dallas in 2002. Four of the facilities are full-service, fixed base operations, and two offer maintenance as well as aircraft part sales.
After eighty years of service, the Cutter name has become a symbol of experience and innovation. The Cutter team will undoubtedly remain at the forefront of the aviation industry as we soar into the future.
