NBAA-BACE was held Oct. 10–12 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport (HND). The show included 100 aircraft on static display, well-attended education sessions and approximately 1,100 exhibitors, including Phillips 66® Aviation.
During the event, Phillips 66 Aviation hosted a check presentation where media and other guests gathered to watch as the Corporate Angel Network (CAN) was presented a $22,000 donation check. CAN is the only charitable organization in the U.S. whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible medical treatment by arranging free air travel to treatment centers across the country. Phillips 66 Aviation has proudly participated in the program since 2010.
Immediately following the CAN check presentation, Lindsey Grant, Manager, General Aviation, U.S., spoke to the crowd in celebration of Phillips 66 Aviation’s 90th anniversary, complete with cake and a champagne toast.
Grant said, "Phillips 66 Aviation has operated for the past nine decades as 'The Most Trusted Wings in Aviation.' In the years beyond, we will continue to strive to be the strongest and most respected fuel provider in aviation."
Attendees who stopped by our eight FBO booths walked away with golden keep-sake coins and a chance to play the Phillips 66 Aviation themed larger than life Plinko Game. At the Phillips 66 Aviation booth everyone was a winner – taking home a Phillips 66 branded long-sleeved T-shirt or a pair of Phillips 66 dress socks. More than 30 lucky participants landed on the grand prize slot and received their golden ticket to return on Thursday in the showcase showdown. Mr. Mark Scheifele of Cosgrove Aircraft Service, Inc. was the grand prize winner and walked away with a golden MacBook.
