Phillips 66 Aviation Booth Visitors Won Big at this Year’s NBAA-BACE Back in Vegas

October, 2021

The 2021 NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) was held Oct. 12-14 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Henderson Executive Airport (KHND) in Las Vegas. The show included an impressive static display of cutting-edge business aircraft, education sessions and more than 1,000 exhibitors, including Phillips 66® Aviation.

Phillips 66 booth visitors had the opportunity to experience “Jet-Man”, a spin on the beloved classic Pac-Man, and play the ever-popular life-size Plinko for a chance to win fun giveaways and level up for some exciting daily prizes. Three lucky winners took home the daily prizes, which included two Apple Watches and a Macbook, one raffled off each day during the convention.

Once again, Phillips 66 Aviation presented a $23,460 check to the Corporate Angel Network, along with co-sponsors Business & Commercial Aviation Magazine and Safe Flight Instrument Corporation. CAN is the only charitable organization in the U.S. whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best treatment centers in the country by arranging free travel on corporate aircraft.

The donation is a part of Phillips 66 Aviation’s sponsorship of the Corporate Angel Award, a unique program that recognizes corporations and their flight departments that have demonstrated outstanding dedication as participants in CAN. The award recognizes four corporate flight departments each year. This year’s Corporate Angel Award recipients are Executive Jet Management, Cigna, Hanson Communications and Stryker Corp.

And finally, I Hart Flying Foundation and Phillips 66 Aviation were proud to announce the 2021 winners of the “Fueling Flight with Harts of Might!” themed scholarship. Winners Kaylee Smith of New Hampshire, Dayna Graves of Texas, Cheyenne Perry of Colorado, and Elise Thome of Florida, all stopped by the booth to meet the Phillips 66 team and explore the entire convention show floor.

I Hart Flying is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization with a mission is to assist women of all ages in achieving their aviation goals through the awarding of flight training scholarships. Since its founding in 2017, IHFF will have awarded more than $120,000 in scholarship funding, training packages, pilot supplies and flight training equipment.

We want to thank the following Phillips 66 branded FBOs that served as co-exhibitors within the booth: Fontainebleau Aviation, DuPage Flight Center, Regional Jet Center, Tri-City Aviation, Texas Jet, Ft. Lauderdale Executive Jet Center, and Cutter Aviation.
