This month, the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will return to Oshkosh, Wisconsin, for its annual EAA AirVenture fly-in convention. The event, known as The World’s Greatest Aviation Celebration®, will take place July 25-31 and offer attendees the opportunity to enjoy educational workshops and forums, world-class aerobatics, historic airplane exhibits and much more.
The Phillips 66® Aviation and Phillips 66® Lubricants teams are looking forward to another great event with several activities for attendees:
- Meet the Phillips 66 Aerostars
- The Phillips 66 Aerostars will be hanging out at the Phillips 66 tent 430 on July 28 at 1 p.m. to meet and sign posters for attendees.
- Celebrate our EAA Young Eagles Leadership Award Winner
- This year’s Phillips 66 Young Eagles Leadership Award winner will be announced Tuesday, July 26, at 5:30 p.m. at EAA Founders’ Wing. This annual recognition emphasizes appreciation for a pilot’s extraordinary commitment to support the program’s mission – to introduce kids to the world of aviation. - Keith Clark, lead quality assurance and technical rep from Phillips 66, is presenting two sessions on Monday, July 25 and one session on Friday, July 29. He’ll be discussing the importance of quality assurance, common themes that occur during aircraft misfuellings and how to prevent them.
