NBAA’s Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA-BACE) included more than 50 education sessions, numerous networking events, more than 1,100 exhibits and two static displays of aircraft. Phillips 66® Aviation was there, showcasing our people, our products and our passion for all things aviation.
On day one of the convention, R.G. (Greg) Still, Manager, General Aviation, kicked off Phillip 66 Aviation’s 90th anniversary celebration, speaking to the crowd that gathered at the booth and making a champagne toast complete with cupcakes.
During the event, Phillips 66 Aviation hosted a check presentation at our booth where media and other guests gathered to watch as the Corporate Angel Network (CAN) was presented a $22,000 donation check. CAN is the only charitable organization in the U.S. whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible medical treatment by arranging free air travel to treatment centers across the country. Phillips 66 Aviation has proudly participated in the program since 2010.
Phillips 66 had plenty of prizes to give out to attendees. Visitors who stopped by each of the eight FBOs’ booths took home a red 90th anniversary tumbler or a long-sleeve T-shirt. Daily drawings for a black 90th anniversary tumbler, P-51 Mustang die-cast model aircraft or $50 WingPoints® Cards were held every hour. No one walked away empty-handed!
Many thanks to our loyal FBOs that joined Phillips 66 Aviation in our booth including Business Jet Center, Cutter Aviation, DuPage Flight Center, Fontainebleau Aviation, Regional Jet Center, Texas Jet, Tulsair Beechcraft and World Jet.
Our next stop is the 2017 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference. We hope to see y’all in Texas!
