SDC2017 – A Resounding Success for Record-Breaking Crowds and Exhibitors

As it did last year, the National Business Aviation Association’s (NBAA’s) 2017 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC2017) broke new records for both total attendees (2,900 persons) and exhibitors (541 booths). Phillips 66^® Aviation and more than 20 of our branded FBOs proudly traveled to Fort Worth to meet and greet with an energetic crowd.

Contributing to the conference’s tradition of giving back to the local community, Phillips 66 Aviation donated to this year’s scholarship fund which totaled $40,200. Seven student recipients were announced at the conference who will benefit from the scholarships by using the funds toward professional and career development in business aviation.

While we were there to talk business, we also had a lot of fun serving up Fort Worth Sunrise mocktails in Phillips 66 Aviation glass boots in celebration of our 90th anniversary. Embracing our Texas-charm theme, we also had fun photo opps including a golden cowboy and a photo booth with Western-themed selfie props. Attendees were encouraged to post these photos on their social media pages using the hashtag #P66TXCharm.

Attendees who visited our Phillips 66 branded FBOs walked away with great giveaways including charm bracelets, branded-shirts and tumblers. A few lucky visitors received a Tiffany airplane necklace, Michael Kors watch and Kendra Scott jewelry set. Two grand prize winners took home a leather cross-body Marc Jacobs bag and registration to next year’s conference, SDC2018.
