New Phillips 66 Branded FBO in Texas’s Popular Countryside
Located in Brenham, Texas – halfway between Austin and Houston – you’ll find one of the newest Phillips 66® branded FBOs, Aviators Plus. The full-service FBO, which opened in December 2019, is located at the south end of Brenham Municipal Airport (11R).
Brent Nedbalek, president, started Aviators Plus in 2009 as a maintenance shop and piloting service, which catered to single engines, twin engines, turbo props and jets. After several years, he added charter operations, and as that business grew, he saw a need to ensure reliable fuel supply for his customers. Thus, the FBO operation was born and the partnership with Phillips 66 began.
Now, Aviators Plus is the only full-service FBO in Washington County, offering fuel services, aircraft maintenance and inspections, hangar space, and a wide range of FBO amenities and services including showers, a lounge room, car rental and hotel reservations, Wi-Fi, and a snack shop.
Brenham – which is home to Blue Bell Ice Cream, top-notch antique stores, beautiful parks, trails and bluebonnet fields, and unmatched Texas barbecue joints – brings a variety of both leisure and business travelers to Washington County. With the addition of Aviators Plus, the local aviation industry is soaring to new heights with higher standards of customer service now available to those who fly.

The FBO is still undergoing design improvements, and there are plans to build new hangars to accommodate the increased demand. Nedbalek also says there are plans to open more FBO locations in the area.
