DALLAS – Centrally located in the middle of the country – and deep in the heart of Texas – you’ll find Business Jet Center (BJC), the only award-winning FBO at Dallas Love Field (KDAL). BJC is consistently ranked in Professional Pilot Magazine’s Annual Preference Regarding Aviation Services and Equipment (PRASE) survey, FltPlan’s Pilots’ Choice Awards and Aviation International News (AIN) FBO Survey. In fact, BJC is currently ranked in the top five percent of FBOs in the Americas, according to AIN.

The accolades are a testament to the heart behind the business, which has been owned and operated by the Wright Family since the 1990s. The operation spans three generations of the family, which has a deep passion for aviation and values safety, integrity, service and trust – four pillars at the core of their business.

Heart that Extends Beyond the Business

BJC’s priority is providing exceptional customer service, and no request is too big or too small for this team to accommodate.

“We really look for people with a servant’s heart. You can teach just about anyone to perform certain duties that go along with working at an FBO, but you cannot teach people to genuinely care. This is a trait our entire team embodies, and we are very proud of that,” said Manager of FBO Sales & Marketing Cat Clay.

And that servant’s heart extends into the community. BJC is well-known in the area for their charitable efforts and giving back to causes that are near to employees’ hearts, including those that benefit children, pets and veterans. After years of various philanthropic support, the company decided to form its own 501(c)(3), Business Jet Cares. This platform is utilized to facilitate ongoing efforts and increase the success of each charity event.

On Nov. 9, 2018, Business Jet Center and Business Jet Access will host their 6th Annual Cleared to Land on the Green Charity Golf Tournament benefiting Folds of Honor, which provides educational scholarships to family of America’s fallen and disabled service-members, and Patriot Paws Service Dogs, which trains and provides service dogs to disabled American veterans and others with mobile disabilities and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). The event – held at the elite Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas – is a scramble format tournament, complete with great food, drinks, music, contests and more. During the last five years, this golf event has raised over $150,000 for local charities.

The Must-Haves Plus Some

BJC is a full-service FBO – with a NATA Safety 1st-certified line crew – offering traditional services including fuels from Phillips 66® Aviation as well as hangar space, which they’re increasing. The operation broke ground in August with plans to expand their 33-acre leasehold with a new 48,000-square-foot hangar. More premier services offered by the FBO include a year-round assortment of ice cream and slushies, three crew lounges, a game room and private sleep rooms.

When asked about their relationship with Phillips 66, Clay said, “Phillips 66 provides great customer and support services to our FBO. We feel our long-term relationship benefits both Phillips 66 and BJC, which makes it a win-win for both parties.”

The FBO proudly participates in the Partners-Into-Plane Contract Fuel Program and Phillips 66 WingPoints® Rewards Program. To learn more about Phillips 66 Aviation Branded FBO programs click here.
