Phillips 66 Aviation branded FBO supports military, community
LYNCHBURG, Va. – Freedom Aviation, a Phillips 66® Aviation branded FBO, is a sponsor for this year's Lynchburg Regional Airshow, presented by Liberty University, taking place May 21-22. In addition, Freedom Aviation will provide the fuel for all performers at the show, including the featured U.S. Navy Blue Angels, the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world.
"This year's theme, 'A Salute to Service', was selected in order to honor our local military and service men and women who serve and protect our country and communities,” said Dave Young, President of Freedom Aviation and President of the Lynchburg Regional Airshow. “Because of our established military fuel contract with Phillips 66 Aviation, Freedom Aviation is able to fuel military aircraft, propelling this year's respected performers as they entertain and amaze the more than 40,000 estimated attendees."
The show will feature nine aerial performers, helicopter rides, F/A-18 flight simulators and more than 15 static displays.
