Gather some helpful tips so you can make the most of your next NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference.
The Phillips 66® Aviation team is gearing up for the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference Jan. 29 – Feb. 1 in San Antonio. Beyond having a blast and enjoying each day’s activities, we enjoy meeting so many important schedulers, dispatchers, FBO representatives, pilots and members of the aviation industry.
Since we’re seasoned NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference vets, we’ve compiled a list of tips and tricks for those of you who haven’t joined us yet. If you’re planning to attend the conference for the first time, read on! If you’re convincing a new pal to attend with you, share this list so he or she is prepared.
Pack light - you’ll need the suitcase room
Get ready to be blown away by the amazing giveaways and swag you can collect on the conference floor. Not only do gifts give you an incentive to visit new booths, but you could also walk away with Tiffany & Co. jewelry, Louis Vuitton bags, Apple Watches and more keychains and T-shirts than you can count!
Bring lots of business cards
You’ll want to bring as many as you can carry and you’ll likely give them all away during the conference. This is your opportunity to meet and mingle with the best and brightest in the industry – pass those cards out and collect cards from your peers as well.
Arrive early for breakfast
First things first, you need to fill up your tank to make it through a long day of networking and fun events. Show up early to the convention center for a breakfast of fresh fruit, delicious breads and quality coffee. You’ll want a healthy start to your day with all the snacks and candy that will be tempting you on the floor!
Attend the Opening General Session
Grab your morning coffee or tea and settle in for an opening session that will truly inspire you. You’ll hear from NBAA chairmen as well as the president and CEO before the keynote speaker begins. The 2019 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference will include two keynote speakers – Karen McCullough and Louie Gravance, who will leave you feeling motivated to embrace change and energized to take your customer service to the next level.
Prepare for Photo Ops
From the moment you hit the convention center floor, you’ll see that these aren’t regular booths – these are highly engaging, interactive and fun displays! Come by Phillips 66 Aviation’s booth – booth #1301 – to play a game of Plinko with our very own "Bob Barker."
