Only Six FBOs in U.S. Hold Prestigious Safety Accreditation
HOUSTON – Phillips 66® Aviation branded FBO Texas Jet recently announced it was awarded the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) certification. Texas Jet is only one of six FBOs located in the U.S. that have attained the significant safety accreditation issued by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC). IS-BAH is a set of globally recognized industry best practices for business aviation ground handlers.
"Texas Jet has always made safety an absolute priority," said Reed Pigman, Jr., Texas Jet’s Owner and President. "From our line crew, to customer service representatives, to bookkeepers, all of our 38 employees participate in regular safety training. Gaining IS-BAH status truly validates Texas Jet’s culture of safety."
Servicing travelers flying in and out of Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW), Texas Jet has been a branded Phillips 66 Aviation dealer for the past 35 years.
"The main contribution that Phillips 66 Aviation makes in supporting Texas Jet’s culture of safety is offering subsidized pricing for the NATA Safety 1st PLST Online training program," said Pigman. "This is a great benefit and truly demonstrates Phillips 66 Aviation’s commitment to safety."
